Hints of Mac with retina display

Apple holds its annual Worldwide Developers Conference next week and while there won’t be any new iPhones or iPads premiering, there is nonetheless a lot of excitement in tech circles, since Apple is our overlords. The Mac utility app FolderWatch has a new version that boasts retina display.

Over at Wired, there are predictions for an Apple Maps alternative to Google Maps, possibly with 3D mapping (which I guess people must want), and a heavy emphasis on the Apple TV peripheral. Apple TV might even get its own app store. Because everything has to have an app store.
