So-long to books and albums you can touch.
Amazon wowed investors with its newest earning report. I was wowed by something else–this little nugget tucked away in a Reuters article. “During the first quarter, nine out of 10 of the top selling products on Amazon.com were digital products, including Kindle e-books, movies, music and apps, the company noted.” 9 of the top 10! This is, of course, good for Amazon which has been counting on its Kindle Fire tablet to help it make the move from physical books and movies to digital ones. But really, 9 of the top 10 sellers are digital? I’d love to know what they are. (Maybe something inexpensive like music?)
