Girl Scouts accept mobile payments

Earning a merit badge in using technology to make me fat

We’ve been talking about the future of payments being mobile payments. A while back, we told you about how the Obama and Romney campaigns are using Square, a system that lets you make donations through a mobile phone.

Now, those insidious Girl Scouts are in on it too. There’s no escape from the Girls now. You can’t say, “oh, I don’t have cash on me” or “I don’t have my checkbook”. Next stop: retina scans.
