WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange to appear on ‘The Simpsons’

This final note today, which may well be the first time Entertainment Weekly has made an appearance on the broadcast.

The 500th episode of “The Simpsons” is coming up — next month, in fact. And EW reports they’re going to have a special guest star. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange will make an appearance.

Not so easy to get him, though. The Simpson’s executive producer was apparently just given a number to call, and recorded him from house arrest over in the UK.
