Yeah, I know, it’s the RC Cola of e-readers but Kobo is out with a new $99 ad-supported model. 6-inch display, touch screen, ads that the company promises will show up outside your reading experience. Kobo is no longer attached to Borders book store, chiefly because Borders is no longer attached to the mortal world. Of course, if you don’t mind ads you can get a Kindle for $79 these days and get fuller integration into the Amazon book store. No one is still reading this item.
