Everybody said it was a slam dunk, but there was no mention of Sprint in the iPhone announcements yesterday. Sprint has confirmed, however, that it will be getting the iPhone 4S as well as the iPhone 4. Sorry, no 3GS, George Harrison fans. This comes on the heels of Sprint’s rumored $20 billion commitment to buy iPhones over the next four years. Neither Apple nor Sprint will comment on that but I get the feeling the phrase “this better work” is being muttered around Harrison headquarters these days.
