The new summer job: The "tanning concierge"

This final note today, just to take us somewhere totally different.

The Wall Street Journal has a story about a guy who works at a swanky rooftop hotel pool in New York City. His name is Harrison Anastasio, and he’s paid $15 an hour to keep an eye on the guests at the four-foot deep pool.

And when I say keep an eye on them, here’s what I mean: He gets their cell phone numbers and sends them text messages when it’s time for them to turn over so they get an even tan.

Anastasio says he wants to keep the job, so he has so far resisted the temptation to call some of his more attractive guests after work.
