The White House is holding “office hours” on Twitter during the debt ceiling negotiations. During yesterday’s session, some Obama staffer RickRolled a twitter follower who had the temerity to complain that the debt negotiations were boring.

The White House Twitter feed responded:

“Sorry to hear that. Fiscal policy is important, but can be dry sometimes. Here’s something more fun,” the White House tweeted. And then it provided a link … to Rick Astley singing Never Gonna Give You Up.

David Wiggs may not groove on debt negotiations but he is a Rick Astley fan. He tweeted back
