Yesterday, Google unveiled three new search options that should make Googling that much easier (because heaven knows, the process of typing something in a box to retrieve all world knowledge is a Sisyphean struggle).
Google Instant Pages – This is an expansion of the Google Instant option that premiered last year and showed results before you were even done typing. The new iteration will start to preload the page it thinks you’ll want so by the time your primitive human brain and meat fingers click on it, it’s ready to go. Should save 2-5 precious seconds of your life that you can now use reading to orphans.
Voice search – If you have a mic built in to your computer, you can hit a little button and then talk into it, Google will try to understand what you’re saying and search for it. This is a little silly because you still have to click on a result but whatevs, it will be fun to talk to our computers and not be thought crazy people.
Visual search – You’ll be able to drag and drop pictures into a search box and then Google will find similar pictures. Each picture, of course, being worth a thousand words.
