This comes as protestors are swarming the streets. 8 people are reported to have died in the protests, which were spurred by the deaths of seven children in earlier anti-government protests. The idea of shutting down the internet to quell uprisings has been tried recently in Egypt and Tunisia but it sure didn’t work there.
