Remember Blippy? Probably not since no one was using it. But the idea was to register your credit card on the site and then let people see what kinds of things you bought. It’s like social media for…receipts…? Blippy got a lot of coverage and some people actually signed up. Blippy also had some problems with privacy when some credit card numbers started showing up on Google Search results. Whoops. Along the way it got tons of venture capital investment for some reason. Now Blippy as a credit card purchase sharing site is dead and the founders are keeping the name but using the money to make other things. Maybe a service where you mail your house keys to anyone who wants them.
