In the world of stories that actually DO have something to do with technology, Sony has again apologized for the massive breach of the PlayStation Network. They are giving any PSN customers a month of free access. Of course, that only really matters to the customers who still want to get on the dang thing after potentially having all their personal details stolen by STILL UNKNOWN hackers. It’s kind of like free safety deposit boxes at a bank that just got robbed. Mixed blessing, you know?

The other development here is that some PSN customers are reporting fraudulent charges on their credit cards. Stuff like German grocery store purchases charged to American credit cards. And German airline tickets being purchased.
