This final note today, a nifty little counterpoint to all the grim privacy related technology news of late.
On this day in 1981, the first mouse meant to be used with a personal computer went on the market. It was attached to a Xerox Star workstation. Thirty years later, that particular computer’s no longer with us, but the mouse endures. Didn’t really become popular, though, until the Apple Macintosh hit the market in 1984.
Kills me how everything comes back to them.
