It’s been one month since the major earthquake and tsunami hit Japan; Marketplace reports on the recovering economy. Gas sales had fallen for five straight weeks, which could indicate an economic tipping point. Congress reached a budget deal late last Friday — now we look at what the future holds, and how businesses are preparing for future debt. Robert Samuelson, a columnist for Newsweek and The Washington Post, talked about whether the government is promising more than it can deliver.
