Not a movie. Sadly. Google has removed an application from the music site Grooveshark from the Android Market. Grooveshark lets you post your own songs online and then other people can listen to them. You could probably maintain the ruse that it’s for artists to share their own work but come on. It’s totally Bieber you’re sticking up there. Grooveshark has been called a pirate site by several music labels seeking legal action against it. Google is traditionally pretty reluctant to yank apps but this yanking came just ahead of Google’s head counsel Kent Walker testifying before the House Judiciary Committee today on piracy issues.
