Today, Gov. Chris Christie will decide whether to allow New Jersey residents to gamble online. Something that’s illegal on the federal level, but New Jersey could be the first state to make it legal as long as the gambling only takes place within the state’s borders. Politico has the scoop from the head of the House Financial Services Committee that the committee may soon hold a hearing about a bill that would allow people engage in poker-only gambling online.
