This final note today, which I do believe qualifies as this week’s sign the apocalypse is upon us. Y’know snuggies, those somewhat ridiculous looking blanket-thiings with the sleeves? From the pages of The New York Times comes this statistic:

By the end of this holiday season, there will be 25 million snuggies in circulation. That’s enough for one out of every 12 Americans to get cozy in.

So, if you’re warm, who cares how you look, right?
