What if your bosses made it an initiative for you to be more happy at work? Would you be more productive? Kai visited Sony Pictures to see how that idea is working out in the office. An investment today valued Twitter at about $4 billion, much more than previously perceived. Steve Henn did the math on other big tech companies as well. In government news, we looked at whether the economy needs the stimulus provided by the tax cut compromise, at the Federal Reserve’s proposal for a cap on debit card interchange fees, and the new rules set out for giant solar farms in the west. As regular farm subsidies continue rising, we considered the possibility of a farmland bubble burst. And our regular commentators and guests reviewed their favorite business books from 2010.
