Google entered the ebooks market today, selling digital editions of books online and getting into direct competition with other online booksellers like Amazon and Apple. There’s a new trend in the credit card world — prepaid debit cards backed by celebrities and aimed at teenagers. They claim to want to help teach teens about smart credit use, but Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and others calls these cards “predatory.” The new U.S. $100 bill is supposed to be released in two months, but a printing error may cause a delay, or at least cost the government millions of dollars. The U.K. cut to housing benefits could affect where the rich and poor live. Mexico has a lot of incentives to become a greener country. The U.S. and South Korea agreed to a free-trade pact agreement yesterday that looks to be good for the job market. Congress continues to negotiate over the Bush-era tax cuts and unemployment benefits. And here are the songs we played:
