ESPN says it dug through Neilsen data and found that only .26 percent of cable customers have canceled in the last three months in favor of going with broadband only. They also said .17 percent of broadband owners ADDED cable, making for a net cable loss of only a tenth of a percentage point. Moreover, it wasn’t the young and hyper plugged in that was doing the canceling, it was older couples looking to save money.

Again, I have a hard time blindly accepting what ESPN says in this department. It may be true, it may not be, but I would have a hard time accepting an analysis on this subject from Hulu either, you know?
