Keep a large bowl in the sink and use the “gray water” from rinsing coffee or tea cup etc. for watering flowers. In new houses, make sure the condensation drain from the air conditioner is high enough that it can easily be collected or drains out to the lawn if on a slope. In the driest of summers, our 300 sq. feet front lawn is super green without once taking the hose to it. We measured about 30 gal of water daily-free taking care of the grass!
