This final note today, a slightly different perspective on the news we started with: the GM IPO.
GM shares, as we said, gained about a percent today. A little more. Over the past three months, Toyota’s up about 9 percent. Ford’s up 33 percent. Biggest gainer for carmakers since this summer, though?
Tesla.
The electric car company’s up 60 percent since it went public back in June. I saw one of its roadsters on the way home yesterday. They’re pretty nice.
