Facebook event today

Scheduled for 10:30am pacific at the company headquarters. The invitation says to “please join us for a mobile event” and has an illustration of two people and a phone made of two cups and a string.

No one knows what the event will be although there have been rumors (and cagey semi-denials) of a Facebook phone for a while. I’ve noticed Facebook has become kind of hooked on holding these events a lot lately so it’s also very possible it’s not a very shocking announcement at all, just those crazy kids being kooky.
