Not Tickle Me Elmo, not Cabbage Patch Kids, not a hula hoop.

Apple stuff. According to the Telegraph, the top three items kids ages 5 – 16 want this year are an iPhone 4, iPod Touch, and iPad.

Here at Marketplace Tech Report headquarters (my desk and Larissa’s desk), we just got done making a show about the lives of workers at Foxconn, the enormous company in China that assembles these electronics. The workers put in huge amounts of overtime for wages that would never let them buy the things they spend those hours building. Tune in tomorrow.
