3D TV sales are far below the industry’s aspirations. Why? Could it be that people who buy these TVs have to either sit at a particular angle and hold their head a certain way to see the effect or else wear dorky glasses? And, what about all the people who already have glasses? Just not happening. Samsung thinks it has the answer, though. What about making prescription 3D glasses for all the 4-eyes who might want 3D TV? And, how about making the Samsung 3D prescription glasses only compatible with Samsung 3D TVs? Brilliant.
