The former defense secretary once said “I don’t do quagmires,” but he does do Twitter. Beginning this morning you too can follow him @RumsfeldOffice. In just under 12 hours online, the account has gathered almost 1000 followers.
His foray into micro-blogging may be the first battle in the war to re-make his image. His book Known and Unknown comes out in January. He’s also launched a Facebook page. Hat-tip Wired’s Danger Room.
