The University of Michigan is developing a “venture accelerator,” a sort of think tank where venture capitalists and companies can share ideas with university researchers. It could be the beginning of a forward-thinking movement, or it could erode the values of academia. London struggles to fill jobs without foreign help, but with a cap on immigration put on by the government, many projects may get sidetracked.
