VIDEO: A behemoth airline merger

All the week's business news in a 60-second poem. This week: Some big airline mergers, tax cut extensions, Tea Party victories, health care opponents show endurance, and Basel III.

Airlines are merging helter skelter
Northwest got bought out by Delter
America West and US Air.
TWA’s no longer there.
Today it just might be decided:
Will Continental fly United?
Soon there’ll be just one airline around
and they’ll charge you a fee IF you want to sit
down.

Extend the tax cuts?
Yes, but which?
Everybody? Just the rich?
Tea Partiers say cut ’em all
But they might cut the GOP this fall.

Health care opponents are showing endurance –
You can’t make me buy insurance!

Honk if you’re into Basel 3
And I’ll see you at Marketplace.org.
