That’s the alleged cost of a touch screen computer being proposed by the Indian government. They are now looking for a manufacturer for the device which has no hard drive but runs on a memory card much like a cell phone. Also, it’s solar powered. We’ve been down this road before with India, they’ve brought out a ten dollar netbook prototype that never got built. But if they can pull this off it would obviously be significant.
