Between the FDA’s passive nod to controversial diabetes drug Avandia, Europe’s plunge back into crisis-rendering mortgage-backed securities and China’s cool-down of a high-flying economy, it was a morning of risks — whether ignoring, taking or controlling them. Today’s bridges reflected our topical sense of adventure and uncertainty with techno-infused minors and staccato tension, with a Pet Shop Boys segue putting a positive, playful bow on the risky package.
