There is some good news if you dig into the numbers, but overall, inflation progress has stalled

The latest PCE price index shows prices rose three-tenths of 1% in December, the biggest monthly increase since April. This rise is partly due to higher energy costs. However, excluding energy and food, annual inflation has remained around 2.7 or 2.8% since July. Christopher Low, chief economist at FHN Financial, joins us to discuss.
