Associate Producer

SHORT BIO

Jenny Ament is a former associate producer for Marketplace Weekend. She joined Marketplace in 2014, bringing a diverse background to her role.

Jenny’s work experience has taken her all over the world: from producing radio for a community station in Winnipeg and directing audiobooks in Atlanta, to serving as a Peace Corps volunteer, an English teacher in China and Oman, and a bartender in Egypt. Prior to her start at Marketplace, she most recently worked as an associate producer for CNN Radio and as a reporter for AM 1690.

A native of Alabama, Jenny enjoys talking to strangers and exploring different ways of life—all of which makes her a perfect fit for public radio.
