James E. Dwyer, Jr.

Jim Dwyer is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Michael Foods, Inc. (MFI), a $2.3 billion food products company with leading food service and retail market shares in egg products, refrigerated potatoes, pasta and retail cheese. Michael Foods is the world’s largest egg products company and the leader in refrigerated potato products with a broad portfolio of branded and private label products. Jim has led two successful sale processes of MFI, both resulting in significant shareholder value creation. Prior to joining MFI, Jim spent 25 years in consumer goods leadership at Ahold, PepsiCo, Kraft and P&G.

Holds an MBA and BA from the University of Virginia. Board member of Marketplace’s parent org (Minnesota Public Radio/American Public Media), along with Anderson Corporation and the Grocery Manufacturers Association. Can be found splitting his time between Minneapolis, MN, and Sarasota, FL, plus traveling across the U.S. to visit his three children.
