Pebble smartwatch hits the big time, or at least the Best Buy

The Pebble (pictured above), a so-called smartwatch, could have some company soon - Samsung is predicted to announce their version of the smartwatch on Wednesday.

There has been a lot of talk about smartwatches as tech's next big object of desire. Apple has filed patents for one. Sony just released its own model. And today an independent, crowdfunded piece of tech called the Pebble goes on sale at Best Buy. But one big question remains: Will consumers actually want to read text messages and Facebook posts on their wrists?
