The 450-tonne platform will house liquefied natural gas (LNG) production in the Gydan Peninsula in the western Siberia region of Russia. Once construction is complete, the concrete structures will be flooded. The platform will float up and be towed to the Utrenneye gas field. The construction the structure is part of a new LNG project for Novatek, the largest natural gas producer in Russia. This platform aims to be completed by August 2022.
