I need a vacation from my vacation

More than half of American workers don’t use all their paid vacation days, and when they do, it’s with a fair amount of guilt. Plus: Alexander Acosta’s legacy at the labor department and a woman who found a career in counting cards.

“The No. 1 reason actually why people don't take vacation days is that they're worried about the mountain of work that they're going to come back to,” says Nathan Lump, Travel and Leisure's editor-in-chief.
