Macy’s looks back to icons including Marilyn Monroe and Madonna to attract shoppers in their teens and 20’s. Illinois Governor Pat Quinn will board an Amtrak train heading from Joliet to Bloomington, Illinois, today. The trip is meant to showcase part of the state’s new high-speed rail line which will eventually run all the way to St. Louis. Just one week away from the release of Windows 8, Microsoft reported a 22 percent decline in third-quarter earnings.
