Steve Mullis is the Senior Editor for Acquisitions at Marketplace.

He oversees freelance reporting for the flagship “Marketplace” evening program, “Marketplace Morning Report,” and “Marketplace Tech.” He works with a national network of reporters to find and develop stories about how the economy shapes everyday life.

Before coming to Marketplace, Steve spent more than a decade at NPR in Washington, D.C., working on the digital news team, “Morning Edition,” and the “Up First” podcast. He is based in Seattle.
