I maintain existing broadcast gear and install new gear as needed. I assist with major projects such as the facilities upgrade we recently concluded. I also facilitate building- and infrastructure-related issues.

Production engineer.

Being on call 24/7.

What advice do you wish someone had given you before you started this career?

If it's not in your heart, don't compromise.

Major symphony orchestra conductor.

The portraits of Thelma Todd on my desk. I was married to her for a few years until she died of carbon monoxide poisoning in 1935.
