Iru Ekpunobi is a fellow with Marketplace’s flagship show, where they work on research, pitches and production.

Before joining APM, they taught and studied at the Salt Institute of Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine, and produced longform podcasts and daily news at ABC News Audio.

When the headphones aren’t on, you can find Iru restoring vintage furniture, playing overly competitive tabletop games and/or giggling.
