Scarcity of parking in Austin makes it hard for some businesses to hire
There’s a lot for businesses to consider when it comes to hiring and retaining employees. A study conducted by the firm Nelson\Nygaard for City of Austin, Texas, finds that parking is one of them. Merchants in the trendy South Congress district say they’re having trouble holding onto employees because of the shortage of parking. The city is working on a strategy and hopes to have solutions by the spring.
