Kohl’s banks on Amazon returns to improve store traffic

Kohl’s is expanding a deal with Amazon that allows online shoppers to return their merchandise at Kohl’s stores. It might seem counter-intuitive for a department store to help an online behemoth like Amazon. But Kohl’s is probably thinking that those Amazon customers would make impulse purchases that could drive sales at its thousand nationwide stores.
