EU summit yields no clear way forward on Brexit
European Union leaders wrapped up a two-day summit in Brussels today. Britain’s exit from the bloc was the main focus of the gathering. And students of EU crises will have heard a familiar whizzing sound as another deadline passed in the unfolding drama, known as Brexit. The long-scheduled summit was intended as an important milestone on Britain’s journey out of the bloc. But, the summit did not go as planned.
