The Trump administration may restrict visas for certain Chinese students in STEM fields

In a move to crack down on the possible theft of intellectual property, the Trump administration may restrict the ability of Chinese grad students to get jobs at American companies after they are out of school. Reports say graduate students may be issued visas good for just a year at a time, rather than the multi-year type that are common now. Businesses and universities worry that the shift could deter many students from coming to U.S schools and deter employers from hiring them.
