Fortune Magazine’s Leigh Gallagher and Yahoo Finance’s Dion Rabouin join us to talk about this week’s economic and business news. This week, the Federal Reserve released minutes from their first official meeting with Chair Jerome Powell, so we talk about the forecasted economic growth and the potential of stagnation following. Also a topic of discussion at Fed meeting: deficit spending and trade policy uncertainty. The Fed referred to both as downside risks, so we try to figure out what that means. Later, we talk TPP and why the decision to potentially rejoin the partnership may have arisen (it could involve helping trade with China!)
