Head of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will step down

Richard Cordray announced today that he’s leaving the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau by the end of the month. President Donald Trump will get to appoint Cordray’s successor, giving him yet another way to reshape U.S. financial regulation.
