Austin Golding is co-owner of Golding Barge Line in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He voted for Donald Trump, as the majority of Warren County did.

“Well I think, obviously Mississippi being deep in ‘Trump country’ down here, there’s a lot of optimism,” he said. “But I think there’s also a lot of uncertainty, I think that is also the case here as it is much around the country.”

Golding hopes that Trump will follow through with the promise of an infrastructure bill, and believes that a variety of industries can benefit from such investment.

“I want them focused on how to grow our economy, first and foremost,” he said. “But I’m still in ‘wait and see mode’ but I am optimistic.”
