Dictionary and thesaurus publishers Merriam-Webster updated their Twitter header today in honor of the election.

The image?

The word gotterdammerung. It’s a noun, signifying the collapse of a society or regime marked by catastrophic violence and disorder.

I’m gonna say that’s a little pessimistic.
