Volvo is going all-in on self-driving cars.  The company has already announced its Vision 2020 plan, saying no one will be seriously hurt or killed in a Volvo by 2020. Yesterday in Detroit, Volvo announced that anyone will be able to buy a self-driving Volvo in five years. The company expects autonomous driving will be a $10,000  option on its cars by then.

We spoke with Lex Kerssemakers, the CEO of Volvo North America, about the projected timeline for driverless car technology, and about Volvo’s collaboration with Uber.
