One in three Americans who have a lawn have paid a landscaper to maintain it. But few Americans want landscaping jobs. Alexia Fernández Campbell wrote about this in ‘The Atlantic.”

She discovered that owners of landscaping companies were often unable to find American workers for outdoor landscaping jobs at the wages the companies were able to pay. Many use the H-2B visa program to find workers during the busy season and that come with its own set of complications.
